The message of Shine Ministries is simply this;

·        That there is someone called God who created the Heavens and the earth, and all that there is in them, including man. This God is holy, perfect and hates sin. He has laws that govern how his creation should live and being perfect and mighty, he does and has the power to punish every defaulter. God is so great that your belief or unbelief in Him does not make any difference.

·        Man who God created is a spirit who lives in a physical body (made from dust) and will live forever even after the body dies. Every spirit will live eternally either in the awesome presence of God (Heaven) or in painful separation from him (Heaven).

·        We know that after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, Genesis 3: 1-23, all men have sinned and come short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23. We also know that even though men will most often claim to be good because of their ignorance and self-righteous attitudes, God’s laws and standards are so perfect that there is none righteous- Romans 3:10-12, Isaiah 64:6.

·        We also know that the punishment for the least offence to a perfect and Holy God or the breach of any of his 10 commandments is eternal death – Romans 6:23. This is because holiness does not accommodate sin, it destroys it. A holy God in his bid to destroy sin would unwillingly (because he is just) destroy the soul that insists on holding on to sin. The soul that sins must die. Ezekiel 18:20.

·        Then we know that it is not God’s will for any soul to perish along with its sins. God does not like to destroy both sin and the soul. His most delight is for the soul to be purged of it’s sins and to be restored to it’s original state as it was at the point of creation. 2 Peter 3:9, Genesis 1:31.

·        In God’s unwillingness for any soul to perish, he out of his unlimited love paid the price for sin himself so that all men can live forever even after their bodies die. Knowing that he alone has the power to live a life without sin and also has the power to do whatever he wishes, he allowed himself to be born as a human but without an earthly father’s sinful genes. A human paternal gene would have led to him being defeated by sin.

·        Atonement or payment for sins can only be made with the blood of the one who never sinned. Also only the one who is offended can determine the true price of settlement, hence Jesus the human or visible reflection of God who cannot be seen. Jesus often referred to as the son of God not because God took a wife and had a son but because God became (metamorphosed) mortal. He alone has the power to become man without losing his position in Heaven as God - Philippians 2:6-11 

·        There is enough evidence both from scripture and from common sense that Jesus is the only way by which a man can be reconnected to the lost glory of God. John 14:6, Acts 4:12

·        He is willing to cancel every man’s debt of sin and to give them the opportunity to enjoy eternal life with him right from the time they ask him to if only, they sincerely will.

·        Eternal life begins once a person accepts Jesus to pay for their sins. Jesus overthrows the devil from the sinners’ heart, becomes the rightful Lord and opens the way to Heaven. This is usually referred to as being born again.

·        Once a person becomes born again the Holy Spirit comes in to fuse with their spirit the purpose of which is to strengthen them to live in holiness and righteousness (Remember God’s laws?) and also to help them with the boldness to acknowledge and pray for forgiveness when they sin (break the law).

·         Most importantly, the Holy Spirit brings you into a relationship with God where He talks with you, encourages you, loves you, gives you hope and purpose for living and eventually leads you home (Heaven) where you rightfully belong. 

·        God invites you to restore a broken relationship (a relationship that you broke through sin) at his expense for your benefit. True Christianity is not a set of rules; it is not a religion IT IS A RELATIONSHIP.

·        Please pray with us: "Dear God, thank you for showing me your love through Jesus Christ your son. I believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord and I accept him to pay for all my bills of sin and also to book a room for me in Heaven. Dear Jesus, please be the Lord of my life from this day. Dear Holy Spirit, please control the affairs of my life from this day. I confess with my mouth today that I belong to Jesus and I am born again! Amen"

·        Now what next? 

a.   You will need to find a bible believing church or fellowship, Heb. 10:25

b.   boldly present yourself as God's latest child, Rom. 10:9

c.    ask to be baptised, John 3:5

d.   ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit Acts 8:13-17, Acts 19:1-7

e.   seek every opportunity to study and obey God's word, Josh. 1:8, 

f.     identify and befriend a more matured child of God to encourage you along the way, it can be tough sometimes.

g.   see you in Heaven.
