Righteousness and God’s Word

THY WORD have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.                                                                                               Ps. 119:11

 
In the verse 9, David asks about how a person can stay pure except by the word of God. In the verse 133 he asks God to establish his footsteps in the word so that sin would not have dominion over him.

 Everything we do as humans is determined by what we know and think. If you have good knowledge it will lead you to do good things and the opposite is also true. Evil communication corrupts good manners but the word reinforces it. If the word fills your heart, only goodness and righteousness will come out of it. If you want to please God in righteousness, fill your heart, mind and home with his word.

Remember his word is life. Ignore all the evil counsel that emanates from worldly wisdom. Stick to his word and enjoy his presence all the day long.
